What it isYou study how to extract useful patterns and insights from large sets of data using computer science, mathematics, and statistics. The Co-op version requires you to complete paid work terms at companies throughout your degree, giving you real-world experience alongside your coursework. The Management option adds business and organizational courses if you want to lead data projects or work in strategy rather than focus purely on technical analysis.Engineering I – Discovery Track lets you explore multiple engineering specializations during your first year before committing to a specific stream like chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, or software engineering. You can also choose to combine engineering with management or social studies. The co-op option means you'll alternate between classroom and paid work terms, giving you real experience in the field while studying.Engineering Science is a broad engineering program where you study math, physics, and engineering fundamentals before specializing in areas like aerospace, electrical, biotechnology, or general engineering. Unlike traditional engineering programs that lock you into one specialty from year one, this lets you explore multiple fields before choosing your focus. It suits students who are strong in math and science but unsure which engineering discipline fits them best, and who want optional paid work experience integrated into their degree.
