What it isYou study how to extract useful patterns and insights from large sets of data using computer science, mathematics, and statistics. The Co-op version requires you to complete paid work terms at companies throughout your degree, giving you real-world experience alongside your coursework. The Management option adds business and organizational courses if you want to lead data projects or work in strategy rather than focus purely on technical analysis. You study the theory and practice of computing, from writing software and building systems to artificial intelligence and how businesses use technology. The co-op stream requires you to alternate between semesters of coursework and paid work terms at tech companies, giving you real workplace experience alongside your degree. This suits students who want hands-on industry exposure while learning, or who prefer the traditional full-time study path.Engineering I – Discovery Track lets you explore multiple engineering specializations during your first year before committing to a specific stream like chemical, civil, electrical, mechanical, or software engineering. You can also choose to combine engineering with management or social studies. The co-op option means you'll alternate between classroom and paid work terms, giving you real experience in the field while studying.Mechatronics Engineering combines mechanical systems, electronics, software, and artificial intelligence to design machines that think and act on their own. Unlike a traditional engineering program, this one requires you to complete paid work terms alternating with school, giving you real industry experience building the robots and automated systems you study in class. It suits people who want hands-on problem-solving across multiple engineering disciplines and are ready to balance studies with work semesters.
