At Ontario Tech, you can choose between a straight science degree or combine it with management courses, which prepares you for roles where you lead tech projects or teams. Chemistry is the study of matter, reactions, and how substances interact and change. This program lets you choose between a standard four-year degree or a co-op option that includes paid work terms at companies or labs, giving you real workplace experience alongside classroom learning. It suits students who enjoy hands-on experimentation and problem-solving with chemicals and materials, and who want either a direct path to further study or early exposure to chemistry careers.	You study the structure and behaviour of atoms, molecules, and reactions: how substances interact, break down, and transform. Unlike a general science degree, this is a focused program in chemistry alone, and includes a mandatory co-op term where you work in a lab or industry setting.
