What it is	Applied Biotechnology is the study of using living organisms and their processes to solve problems in agriculture, medicine, and industry. You'll take courses in chemistry, biology, and genetics while learning to apply this knowledge in real laboratories and workplaces. The BSc and Management version adds business skills alongside the science, and co-op placements are built into both programs so you earn experience with employers while studying.	You study chemistry, physics, astronomy, or geology at an advanced level, choosing your focus after first year. This program includes a co-op option that lets you work for employers in research, industry, or government between school terms. It suits students who are curious about how matter, energy, and natural systems work and want both hands-on lab experience and real-world work placements.
