Rows marked with a dot are where these differ. Everything is each university’s own published wording; the “your average” row is yours, calculated the way each program does it.

| What it is | Physics is the study of how matter, energy, and forces work at every scale, from atoms to galaxies. At Ontario Tech, you can do the standard Bachelor of Science in Physics, or combine it with a Business and Management degree if you want to develop skills in both areas. The program includes co-op work terms, letting you apply physics in real jobs alongside your studies. It suits people who want a strong grounding in physics theory and problem-solving, whether or not they're considering business or management later on. | You study how Earth's physical systems work — landforms, climate, water, soil — and learn geomatics, the technology and methods used to map and analyse geographic data. This differs from human geography programs by focusing on natural processes rather than societies and cultures. It suits you if you want to understand environmental change and work with mapping software and spatial analysis tools, whether in research, conservation, or resource management. |
