What it is	Biomedical Science is the study of how the human body works at the cellular and molecular level, using tools from biology and chemistry to understand disease and develop treatments. The co-op option requires you to complete paid work terms at labs, hospitals, or research facilities alongside your studies, giving you real experience in the field. This program suits students who want hands-on exposure to medical science before deciding whether to pursue medicine, dentistry, or research careers.	This program combines the study of how cities and human communities interact with natural systems, drawing on environmental science, geography, and social perspectives. You'll examine urban planning, resource use, climate impacts, and sustainability solutions across both natural and human dimensions. The co-op option lets you work in government, nonprofits, or consulting firms while you study, which suits people who want practical experience alongside classroom learning.	You study how the natural world works alongside the human systems that affect it. The BES focuses on environmental policy, conservation, and sustainability through social and geographic lenses, while the BSc emphasizes the physical science side: geology, ecology, and environmental processes.
