What it isDramatic Art is the study of theatre, performance, and how drama communicates meaning to audiences. You'll learn acting, directing, script analysis, and how media shapes storytelling across different platforms. The program includes a work-integrated co-op component, so you'll spend terms working in theatres, film, or media companies alongside your coursework, giving you real production experience before you graduate. An Arts and Contemporary Studies program combines the study of human culture, communication, places, and how societies preserve and interpret their past. Unlike a straight humanities degree, this program emphasizes real-world application through optional co-op placements where you work in museums, media organizations, or cultural agencies alongside your studies. It suits students curious about how people live and communicate across different cultures and time periods, who want hands-on experience before deciding on a career path.Arts One is a broad first-year program that lets you explore multiple humanities and social science subjects — including anthropology, history, English, economics, and geography — before deciding on a major. Unlike applying directly to a single program, this approach gives you time to sample different disciplines and find the right fit before committing. It suits students who are curious about ideas and society but aren't yet certain which direction they want to specialize in.
