What it isYou study the engineering principles behind medical devices and equipment, combining mechanical engineering with biology and healthcare applications. Unlike pure mechanical engineering, this program integrates biomedical sciences so you design systems that work inside or on the human body. It suits students interested in engineering who also want to apply their skills directly to medicine and health technology, with mandatory paid work terms built into the degree. You study how to design, build, and improve cars and vehicles, combining mechanical systems, electrical components, and manufacturing processes. The BEng&Mgt option adds business and management courses so you can move into leadership roles, whereas the standard BEng keeps the focus on engineering. This program includes co-op work terms where you work at automotive companies, suiting students who want hands-on industry experience alongside their degree.Mechatronics engineering combines mechanical systems, electronics, and computer control to design machines and devices that think and move. You'll study how motors, sensors, and software work together in everything from robots to medical equipment. The co-op option lets you alternate between study terms and paid work terms, giving you real industry experience alongside your degree.

Ranges are what each university publishes, not guaranteed cutoffs, and limited-enrolment programs often admit above them. Confirm anything you are about to act on with the university; each column links to its source.
