Unlike a pure exercise science program, this degree balances the science side with practical skills in running fitness facilities, community programs, and leisure services. It suits people who want to combine their interest in fitness and health with careers in coaching, program management, or public health promotion.	This program teaches you the science of human movement and physical activity – how bodies work during exercise, sport, and recreation. You study physiology, biomechanics, and exercise science rather than coaching or fitness training alone. The co-op option lets you combine classroom learning with paid work terms at sports organizations, hospitals, or fitness centres, giving you real experience alongside your degree.	A three-year Bachelor of Arts lets you choose from humanities and social science subjects like history, English, anthropology, geography, and environmental studies.
