What it is	This program trains you to teach French as a second language in Ontario schools. You study both teaching methods and advanced French language skills, so you graduate qualified to stand in front of a classroom. The immersion stream offers extra French-language coursework if you want deeper fluency. It suits people who speak French well (or want to reach that level) and enjoy explaining how language works to others.	Arts One is a broad first-year program that lets you explore multiple humanities and social science subjects — including anthropology, history, English, economics, and geography — before deciding on a major. Unlike applying directly to a single program, this approach gives you time to sample different disciplines and find the right fit before committing.
