What it is	Criminology is the study of crime, criminal behaviour, and the justice system that responds to it. You'll examine why people commit crimes, how laws are enforced, and the social and psychological factors behind criminal activity. This program suits people interested in understanding crime from an academic angle rather than pursuing law or direct policing careers.	Arts One is a broad first-year program that lets you explore multiple humanities and social science subjects — including anthropology, history, English, economics, and geography — before deciding on a major. Unlike applying directly to a single program, this approach gives you time to sample different disciplines and find the right fit before committing. It suits students who are curious about ideas and society but aren't yet certain which direction they want to specialize in.	Social Sciences is the study of how people, societies, and economies work. You choose from nine subject areas including anthropology, economics, history, law, geography, politics, and sociology, and can combine them however you want rather than following one fixed path. This program suits students curious about human behaviour, institutions, and the world around them who want flexibility to explore multiple disciplines before specializing.
