What it is	Criminology is the study of crime, criminal behaviour, and the justice system that responds to it. You'll examine why people commit crimes, how laws are enforced, and the social and psychological factors behind criminal activity. This program suits people interested in understanding crime from an academic angle rather than pursuing law or direct policing careers.	This program teaches you how law works in society and how crime fits into legal systems, without requiring you to go to law school. Unlike a specialized criminology degree, it keeps law and criminal justice equally central throughout. It suits students interested in how courts, police, and rules actually function, or who want a foundation before deciding whether to pursue law professionally.	A degree in linguistics, language and society teaches you how languages work, how people use them, and what role language plays in culture and society. You'll study subjects like how languages change over time, how brains process speech, and how language connects to history, law, and Indigenous cultures. The iBA version requires you to spend a year studying abroad in a French-speaking environment, giving you immersion in language learning alongside your coursework. This program suits people curious about communication, cultural diversity, and how language shapes human experience.
