What it is	Sociology is the study of how people live together in groups — families, communities, workplaces, societies — and why social patterns form the way they do. You'll examine real issues like inequality, culture, institutions, and human behaviour through research and theory. It suits people curious about why societies work as they do and interested in understanding social change.	You study how to create practical solutions to social problems by combining ideas from business, politics, and social sciences. Unlike a straight business or political science degree, this program intentionally blends entrepreneurship, policy thinking, and community understanding so you can design and launch initiatives that address real needs. It suits people who want to work on social change but also need to understand how organizations, money, and systems actually work.	This program combines the study of how gender and power shape society with political analysis and policy-making. You'll examine feminist theory, women's history, and social movements alongside government systems, elections, and law. The co-op component means you alternate between classroom learning and paid work terms in relevant organizations, giving you real-world experience in activism, government, or non-profits while you study.
