What it isYou study chemistry at the university level, learning how atoms and molecules work, react, and form substances. This program lets you do paid work terms at companies and labs alongside your courses, giving you real workplace experience in chemistry fields before you graduate. It suits students who want hands-on learning and a chance to explore whether chemistry research, industry work, or another science career appeals to them.Applied Biotechnology is the study of using living organisms and their processes to solve problems in agriculture, medicine, and industry. You'll take courses in chemistry, biology, and genetics while learning to apply this knowledge in real laboratories and workplaces. The BSc and Management version adds business skills alongside the science, and co-op placements are built into both programs so you earn experience with employers while studying.Biochemistry is the study of the chemical processes that happen inside living cells and organisms — how molecules interact, how energy moves through bodies, and how drugs and poisons affect biological systems. You'll take courses in chemistry, molecular biology, and pharmacology. If you choose the co-op stream, you'll alternate between classroom study and paid work terms at labs or pharmaceutical companies, giving you real experience alongside your degree.
