Geography is the study of Earth's physical systems — landforms, climate, water — and how humans interact with their environment and each other across space. You'll combine field research, data analysis using mapping technology, and social analysis to understand everything from urban development to environmental change. This program includes a co-op work term, giving you paid workplace experience alongside your studies.	A degree in linguistics, language and society teaches you how languages work, how people use them, and what role language plays in culture and society. You'll study subjects like how languages change over time, how brains process speech, and how language connects to history, law, and Indigenous cultures. The iBA version requires you to spend a year studying abroad in a French-speaking environment, giving you immersion in language learning alongside your coursework.
