What it is	A Philosophy BA means you study fundamental questions about knowledge, reality, ethics, and how to think clearly. The co-op option lets you apply these skills in workplace settings — workplaces value clear thinking and analysis — while the international version includes time abroad and global perspectives.	Philosophy is the study of fundamental questions about knowledge, reality, ethics, and how to live. You examine ideas through reading, discussion, and reasoned argument rather than through experiments or fieldwork. This program suits people who enjoy questioning assumptions, thinking critically about complex problems, and exploring big ideas across many disciplines.	A degree in linguistics, language and society teaches you how languages work, how people use them, and what role language plays in culture and society. You'll study subjects like how languages change over time, how brains process speech, and how language connects to history, law, and Indigenous cultures. The iBA version requires you to spend a year studying abroad in a French-speaking environment, giving you immersion in language learning alongside your coursework. This program suits people curious about communication, cultural diversity, and how language shapes human experience.	A three-year Bachelor of Arts lets you choose from humanities and social science subjects like history, English, anthropology, geography, and environmental studies. Unlike an honours degree, you complete fewer credits overall and have more flexibility to explore different fields or combine subjects without specializing deeply in one.
