What it is	Engineering is a four-year degree in applied science and problem-solving, with seven specializations: civil, computer, electronic and electrical, geomatics, mechanical, software, and space. The co-op option lets you alternate between classroom semesters and paid work terms at engineering firms, giving you real experience before you graduate. It suits people who want hands-on technical training, enjoy math and physics, and prefer learning through doing alongside theory.	You study how to design, build, and improve cars and vehicles, combining mechanical systems, electrical components, and manufacturing processes. The BEng&Mgt option adds business and management courses so you can move into leadership roles, whereas the standard BEng keeps the focus on engineering. This program includes co-op work terms where you work at automotive companies, suiting students who want hands-on industry experience alongside their degree.	In your first year, you take core math, physics, chemistry, and engineering courses alongside introductory modules in civil, computer, electrical, mechanical, software, and space engineering.
