What it isThis program examines cities and the environmental, social, and economic forces that shape them. You study planning, sustainability, and development through multiple disciplines — ecology, sociology, economics, and policy — rather than focusing on one subject alone. It suits students interested in how cities work and who want to understand urban problems from many angles at once.Honours Science is a broad science degree where you choose your major from fields like biology, chemistry, environmental science, computer science, or archaeology. Unlike a general science program, an honours degree requires you to specialize in one subject and complete more advanced courses in that area. It suits students who want a strong grounding in science but haven't yet decided on one specific career path, or who want deeper knowledge in a particular field.Life Sciences is a broad study of living organisms, their cells, genetics, and chemistry at the molecular level. You'll take core courses in biology, chemistry, and biochemistry, then choose a focus like microbiology, biotechnology, or human biology depending on your interests. The co-op option lets you alternate between school and paid work terms in research labs, hospitals, or biotech companies, giving you real experience alongside your degree.
