Engineering at U of T (Mississauga)

Not offered at UTM (Mississauga)

What to watch for

Engineering (the BASc) is not one of UTM's 12 admission categories at all — it isn't a stream you can pick later either, because UTM doesn't run an engineering degree. Engineering at U of T is a completely separate faculty (Applied Science & Engineering, 'FASE') based on the St. George campus, with its own OUAC codes and its own application (e.g. Track One historically, or now direct entry to the Core 8 programs / Engineering Science). A student who wants engineering at U of T needs to apply to the St. George campus's engineering programs, not to any UTM code like TMW or TMZ. There was a 2013-2015 proposal for a 'UTM 2+3 engineering pathway' letting students spend two years at UTM before finishing an engineering degree through FASE, but this never became one of UTM's current admission categories and any such route would still be an application to FASE, not to a UTM program code.
