What it isThis program lets you study pure science in one of four areas: biology, chemistry, physics, or a mix of these subjects. You'll take foundational courses in your chosen field and build toward specialized upper-year courses. It suits students who want a strong grounding in how the natural world works, whether they're planning to go further in science or use that knowledge in other directions.Kinesiology is the study of human movement, exercise, and sport from biological and physiological angles. You learn how the body works during physical activity, nutrition science, and injury prevention. The co-op option lets you earn work experience in fitness facilities, sports medicine, or health organizations while completing your degree, which suits students who want practical experience alongside classroom learning.Biomedical Science is the study of how the human body works at a chemical and cellular level, combining chemistry, biology, and medical science. The BSc&Mgt version adds business and management courses alongside the science, preparing you for roles that involve both technical and leadership responsibilities. This program includes mandatory work terms, so you alternate between classroom and paid jobs in hospitals, research labs, or biotech companies. It suits people interested in health-related careers who want hands-on industry experience before graduating.
