A social sciences degree at King's combines the study of people, societies, and human behaviour through subjects like history, politics, economics, psychology, and sociology. You choose a major or specialization within one of these fields — for example, criminology, social work, or economics — and develop deep knowledge in that area while taking supporting courses across the social sciences. This program suits students curious about how societies work, why people act as they do, and what shapes institutions and policy.	This is a combined undergraduate and law degree program that lets you study a humanities or social science subject alongside a professional law degree. Unlike a standard BA followed by separate law school, you complete both degrees together in an integrated path, earning a BA/LLB. It suits students who want a broader educational foundation in fields like English, archaeology, or communication studies while training to become a lawyer, rather than focusing only on law from the start.	Social Science is a broad study of how people, societies, and economies work. You choose a focus like economics, anthropology, history, or business studies, then take courses across that field. Western offers this as either a BA or BSc depending on your focus, and you can do it with co-op, meaning you alternate between school terms and paid work placements in your field.
