What it is	Biological Sciences is the study of living organisms — their structure, function, genetics, ecology, and how they interact with their environment. At Brock, you can pursue this as a straight Bachelor of Science or combine it with teacher education through the BSc/BEd, which qualifies you to teach biology in Ontario high schools. The program includes a co-op option that integrates paid work terms with your studies, giving you practical experience in research labs, government agencies, or industry.	Science One is a general first-year science program that lets you explore multiple science disciplines — biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, and others — before committing to a specific major. Unlike entering directly into a single science program, you take a broader range of foundational courses to discover which field best suits you. It works well for students who are interested in science but unsure which specialization to pursue.	Social Science is a broad study of how people, societies, and economies work. You choose a focus like economics, anthropology, history, or business studies, then take courses across that field. Western offers this as either a BA or BSc depending on your focus, and you can do it with co-op, meaning you alternate between school terms and paid work placements in your field.
