What it is	Industrial Design teaches you how to plan and shape physical products — from phones to furniture to medical devices — so they work well, look good, and can actually be made. You'll combine design thinking with engineering and manufacturing knowledge to understand both the creative and practical sides of bringing products to life. The co-op term lets you work in industry while you study, so you apply what you learn to real projects.	Social Science is a broad study of how people, societies, and economies work. You choose a focus like economics, anthropology, history, or business studies, then take courses across that field. Western offers this as either a BA or BSc depending on your focus, and you can do it with co-op, meaning you alternate between school terms and paid work placements in your field.	You study the core skills needed to manage businesses and organizations: accounting, finance, human resources, and economics. Unlike a specialized commerce degree, this program keeps your options broad, letting you focus on different business areas through electives rather than committing to one path early. It suits people who want practical business knowledge but aren't sure yet whether they'll work in corporate management, nonprofits, government, or start their own venture.
