It suits students curious about current events, policy-making, and understanding conflict and social change who want practical work experience alongside classroom learning.	Political Science at Glendon is the study of government, power, policy-making, and how societies are organized and governed. You examine these topics through focused lenses like politics in specific regions (Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East), international development, law and criminology, or social policy. The iBA option adds a mandatory year abroad and deeper integration of language study, making it suited to students who want to engage with politics globally and become fluent in French.	A degree in linguistics, language and society teaches you how languages work, how people use them, and what role language plays in culture and society. You'll study subjects like how languages change over time, how brains process speech, and how language connects to history, law, and Indigenous cultures. The iBA version requires you to spend a year studying abroad in a French-speaking environment, giving you immersion in language learning alongside your coursework.
