What it is	This program teaches you to perform and interpret diagnostic tests on blood, tissue, and other body samples in hospitals and labs. It focuses on the hands-on skills and scientific knowledge that lab technicians use to help doctors diagnose disease. The Northern Access Initiative means the program is designed for students from remote or underserved regions of Ontario, with support to help you succeed in a full-time, lab-based career.	Neuroscience at Brock combines biology, chemistry, and psychology to study how the brain and nervous system work at every level, from molecules to behaviour. The co-op option lets you alternate between classroom semesters and paid work terms at research labs, hospitals, or related organizations, giving you practical experience alongside your degree. This program suits students drawn to understanding how the mind functions, who want hands-on research or clinical experience, and who value learning in real workplace settings.	Social Sciences is the study of how people, societies, and economies work. You choose from nine subject areas including anthropology, economics, history, law, geography, politics, and sociology, and can combine them however you want rather than following one fixed path. This program suits students curious about human behaviour, institutions, and the world around them who want flexibility to explore multiple disciplines before specializing.
