What it is	Applied Biotechnology is the study of using living organisms and their processes to solve problems in agriculture, medicine, and industry. You'll take courses in chemistry, biology, and genetics while learning to apply this knowledge in real laboratories and workplaces. The BSc and Management version adds business skills alongside the science, and co-op placements are built into both programs so you earn experience with employers while studying.	A Business and Arts program combines study in two fields: one from business, accounting, or economics, and one from humanities or social sciences like English, anthropology, or environmental studies. Unlike a single-subject honours degree, you earn one honours diploma by completing substantial coursework in both areas rather than specializing deeply in one. This suits students who want broad knowledge across different disciplines and are curious about how business intersects with culture, society, or the environment.	Science One is a general first-year science program that lets you explore multiple science disciplines — biology, chemistry, physics, computer science, and others — before committing to a specific major. Unlike entering directly into a single science program, you take a broader range of foundational courses to discover which field best suits you. It works well for students who are interested in science but unsure which specialization to pursue.
