What it is	Applied Biotechnology is the study of using living organisms and their processes to solve problems in agriculture, medicine, and industry. You'll take courses in chemistry, biology, and genetics while learning to apply this knowledge in real laboratories and workplaces. The BSc and Management version adds business skills alongside the science, and co-op placements are built into both programs so you earn experience with employers while studying.	This program combines science courses with business studies, so you study both scientific subjects like chemistry, biology, or computer science alongside accounting, management, and economics. Unlike a straight science degree, you gain practical knowledge of how science-based industries operate and how to manage projects or companies. It suits students who want a science career but also care about the business side — whether that's starting a science company, managing research teams, or working in science-related industries.	A Biology degree at Glendon lets you study how living things work, from cells and molecules to whole organisms and ecosystems. You'll take core biology courses and choose from specialized areas like genetics, microbiology, human biology, or biotechnology. The iBSc variant integrates bilingual (English–French) instruction throughout your degree, rather than offering biology taught only in English.	Honours Science is a broad science degree where you choose your major from fields like biology, chemistry, environmental science, computer science, or archaeology. Unlike a general science program, an honours degree requires you to specialize in one subject and complete more advanced courses in that area. It suits students who want a strong grounding in science but haven't yet decided on one specific career path, or who want deeper knowledge in a particular field.
