What it is	Applied Biotechnology is the study of using living organisms and their processes to solve problems in agriculture, medicine, and industry. You'll take courses in chemistry, biology, and genetics while learning to apply this knowledge in real laboratories and workplaces. The BSc and Management version adds business skills alongside the science, and co-op placements are built into both programs so you earn experience with employers while studying.	You study both business and science together as a combined honours degree, taking courses in fields like accounting, chemistry, computer science, or biology alongside business and economics. This differs from a straight business program because you develop scientific literacy and research skills, not just business knowledge. It suits people who want to understand how science and data work in real-world business contexts, or who haven't decided between these two interests yet.	A Bachelor of Administration or Commerce teaches you core business skills like accounting, finance, management, and human resources, along with how organizations actually operate. The BComm adds a stronger focus on accounting and financial analysis compared to the BAdmin. Both programs include a co-op work term, so you alternate between classroom and paid work at real companies, building experience while you study.
