What it isYou study how education works — teaching methods, learning science, school systems, and the social side of how people learn — rather than training to teach in a classroom. This program includes co-op work terms where you gain real experience in schools and education settings alongside your coursework. It suits students curious about education as a field of study who want hands-on experience before deciding whether to pursue teaching, educational leadership, or other education-related careers. This program combines teacher training with study of human movement, exercise, and sports science. Unlike a regular education degree, you learn both how to teach and the science of how bodies move and respond to physical activity. It suits students who want to teach physical education or health in secondary school and are interested in the biology and mechanics behind fitness and sport.A Biology degree at Glendon lets you study how living things work, from cells and molecules to whole organisms and ecosystems. You'll take core biology courses and choose from specialized areas like genetics, microbiology, human biology, or biotechnology. The iBSc variant integrates bilingual (English–French) instruction throughout your degree, rather than offering biology taught only in English.
