This program includes co-op work terms where you gain real experience in schools and education settings alongside your coursework. It suits students curious about education as a field of study who want hands-on experience before deciding whether to pursue teaching, educational leadership, or other education-related careers.This pathway lets you study the fundamental sciences — physics, chemistry, astronomy, mathematics, and biology — together rather than committing to a single discipline right away. You'll take core courses across all these fields in your first year, then gradually specialize based on your interests. The included co-op option means you'll do work terms in research labs or industry, giving you hands-on experience alongside your coursework.This program trains you to teach science at the junior and intermediate levels (grades 7–10) while earning a bachelor's degree. You study science subjects like chemistry, physics, biology and mathematics alongside educational theory and classroom practice.
