What it is	You study how chemicals work in medicine and the body, focusing on drug design, how drugs break down, and their effects on human health. This combines chemistry and pharmacology more directly than a general science degree, giving you hands-on lab work alongside theory. It suits students who want to understand the science behind medications and are comfortable with chemistry and math at an advanced level.	Applied Biotechnology is the study of using living organisms and their processes to solve problems in agriculture, medicine, and industry. You'll take courses in chemistry, biology, and genetics while learning to apply this knowledge in real laboratories and workplaces. The BSc and Management version adds business skills alongside the science, and co-op placements are built into both programs so you earn experience with employers while studying.	Honours Science is a broad science degree where you choose your major from fields like biology, chemistry, environmental science, computer science, or archaeology. Unlike a general science program, an honours degree requires you to specialize in one subject and complete more advanced courses in that area.
