What it isHonours Integrated Science teaches you how different sciences connect and overlap rather than studying them in separate boxes. You'll take courses across biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, and environmental studies, learning how they relate to real problems instead of treating each discipline independently. This suits students who want a flexible foundation in science and aren't certain yet which single specialization they'll pursue. This program covers the study of living organisms and human behaviour, from genetics and microbiology to ecology, nutrition, and psychology. You'll choose a focus area like biological sciences, animal science, environmental studies, or psychology, and take courses that build on that specialization. The co-op option lets you alternate between classroom study and paid work in research labs, hospitals, or environmental organizations. It suits students curious about how life works at every scale, from cells to ecosystems to minds, and who want hands-on experience alongside theory.Life Sciences Gateway is a first-year program where you explore core sciences—biology, chemistry, and math—before specializing in areas like genetics, microbiology, pharmacology, animal science, or psychology. It includes mandatory co-op work terms alongside your studies. This broad entry lets you test different life science directions before committing to a specific degree, rather than applying directly to a single specialized program.
