What it is	Queen's Arts offers a broad, self-directed undergraduate degree spanning humanities, social sciences, and languages. You choose your own combination of subjects — from English and economics to classical studies and environmental issues — rather than following a set curriculum. The co-op option lets you alternate study terms with paid work placements in your field of interest, which suits students who want real-world experience alongside their degree and flexibility in how they structure their time.	You study the Anishinaabemowin language — the language of Anishinaabe peoples in the Great Lakes region — alongside broader Aboriginal Studies content. This is a dedicated language program, not a general Indigenous studies degree, so you spend significant time learning to speak, read, and write the language itself. It suits people with genuine interest in Indigenous languages and cultures, particularly those from Anishinaabe communities or those committed to language revitalization work.	You study one modern language in depth — French, Spanish and Latin American culture, or Italian — alongside English literature and related humanities. Each stream lets you focus on the language itself, its literature, and the history and culture of regions where it's spoken. This suits you if you want genuine fluency in a second language combined with understanding of its cultural context, rather than a broad survey of multiple languages.	A three-year Bachelor of Arts lets you choose from humanities and social science subjects like history, English, anthropology, geography, and environmental studies. Unlike an honours degree, you complete fewer credits overall and have more flexibility to explore different fields or combine subjects without specializing deeply in one. This suits students who want a broad liberal arts education or who are still deciding what to focus on.
