What it isSocial Sciences is the study of how people, societies, and economies work. You choose from nine subject areas including anthropology, economics, history, law, geography, politics, and sociology, and can combine them however you want rather than following one fixed path. This program suits students curious about human behaviour, institutions, and the world around them who want flexibility to explore multiple disciplines before specializing. This program combines business studies with social sciences — covering how companies interact with society, economics, politics, and culture. Unlike a straight business degree, you study sociology, communication, literature, and politics alongside core business courses to understand the human and social side of organizations. It suits students interested in business who also want to explore ethics, culture, and how society shapes markets. This program lets you earn two degrees at once: a business administration credential covering accounting, finance, and entrepreneurship, plus an international studies degree in history, geography, or environmental studies. Unlike a typical business degree, you're required to complete a co-op work term, which gives you practical experience alongside classroom learning. It suits students who want both solid business training and deeper knowledge of global issues or a second subject area.
