What it isThis program teaches you how to plan, run, and improve recreation and leisure services — from community programs to sports facilities to wellness initiatives. The therapeutic recreation stream adds training in how to use activity and recreation as treatment for people recovering from injury, illness, or mental health challenges. Co-op is built in, so you'll alternate between study terms and paid work placements in real recreation and health settings.International Studies is a degree where you combine courses from fields like economics, history, business, and development to understand global issues and how different countries interact. The iBA option includes a mandatory year abroad at a partner university, immersing you in another culture while continuing your studies, whereas the regular BA keeps you on campus. It suits students who want broader perspectives on world problems rather than specializing in a single discipline, and who are curious about how global systems actually work.A Business and Arts program combines study in two fields: one from business, accounting, or economics, and one from humanities or social sciences like English, anthropology, or environmental studies. Unlike a single-subject honours degree, you earn one honours diploma by completing substantial coursework in both areas rather than specializing deeply in one. This suits students who want broad knowledge across different disciplines and are curious about how business intersects with culture, society, or the environment.
