What it is	This program examines cities and the environmental, social, and economic forces that shape them. You study planning, sustainability, and development through multiple disciplines — ecology, sociology, economics, and policy — rather than focusing on one subject alone. It suits students interested in how cities work and who want to understand urban problems from many angles at once.	This program lets you design your own degree by combining courses from multiple fields — anthropology, chemistry, English, history, philosophy, law, media studies, and others — rather than following a single major. You choose which subjects to focus on and how much depth in each, creating a customized path that suits your interests. It works well if you're curious about several areas and want flexibility to explore across disciplines before committing to one specialization.	Political Science at Ontario Tech combines the study of government systems, power, and policy with practical work experience.
