Do you have to pay a tuition deposit to accept an offer?
Accepting on OUAC is not always the last step. Several universities require a deposit to hold your seat, on a deadline of their own, and it is generally credited to first-term tuition rather than refunded.
Every answer below is what the university tells Ontario guidance counsellors, quoted from the OUAC guide for September 2026 entry. It isn’t published on their student pages. Rules like this change rarely; dates don’t — check any date here with the university. Where this comes from.
