What to watch for
Carleton is one of the few Ontario universities with undergraduate architecture open from Grade 12. Architectural Studies has three direct-entry streams, each its own code: Design (CR, 75-77%), Conservation and Sustainability (CRC, 78%), and Urbanism (CRU, 75-77%). A portfolio is mandatory — Carleton's wording is that applicants "must submit a portfolio as part of the admissions process" — and one portfolio covers all three streams even if you apply to more than one. Admission is competitive beyond the published range.
