Architecture at Western
Architecture is not offered at Western University.
What to watch for
Western does not have an undergraduate architecture degree of any kind - no Bachelor of Architectural Studies, no Bachelor of Architecture, and no direct-entry Master of Architecture from high school. Students often confuse this with the University of Waterloo, which does offer a pre-professional Architecture degree (leading to a Bachelor of Architectural Studies) with its own direct OUAC application and portfolio requirement - but that is a completely different school, not Western. None of Western's Grade 12 entry points (Engineering, Science, Arts and Humanities, Fine Arts - Studio, etc.) lead into an architecture major at Western, since the program simply doesn't exist there. A student set on architecture in Ontario should look at Waterloo, Carleton, Toronto, Ryerson/TMU, or Laurentian instead.
