Architecture at McMaster
Architecture is not offered at McMaster University.
What to watch for
McMaster does not have an undergraduate architecture degree at all — it only offers 25 undergraduate programs and architecture is not one of them. There is no faculty, gateway, or "Discovery"/Arts & Science stream at McMaster that leads into an architecture major later. Students who want architecture from McMaster typically start in something unrelated (e.g. Civil Engineering) and then transfer to a school that actually has an architecture program (like Waterloo, Carleton, Toronto, or Dalhousie), or they apply directly to those other universities from Grade 12 instead. If this student wants architecture, they should apply to a different university's OUAC code, not any McMaster code on this list.
