During Plan Selection in May at the end of first year.

What to watch for

Statistics is a plan in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, requested after first year. CORRECTION: an earlier version of this mapping said "Data Analytics is a Computing specialization" — there is no Data Analytics specialization at Queen's. The Computing specializations are Cognitive Science, Computing and the Creative Arts, Computing Mathematics and Analytics, and Software Design; the analytics-flavoured one is Computing, Mathematics and Analytics, reached through Computing (QD). CODE CAVEAT: confirm QSM on OUAC.

The same application also gets you to

Mathematics and Data Sciences Pathway is the entry point for 1 other major at Queen's. You are not choosing between these at application time.
