What to watch for

Statistics does not appear on Waterloo's list of admission programs — you apply to Mathematics and declare Statistics (or Biostatistics, or Actuarial Science) at the end of first year. Waterloo has one of the largest statistics departments in the country; the absence of a standalone code is not an absence of the program.
