One Mathematics code covers 16 majors: Actuarial Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Mathematics with Scientific Computing and Scientific Machine Learning, Biostatistics, Combinatorics and Optimization, Computational Mathematics, Data Science, Information Technology Management, Mathematical Economics, Mathematical Finance, Mathematical Optimization, Mathematical Physics, Mathematical Studies, Pure Mathematics, Statistics, and Mathematics/Teaching. "Apply to Mathematics and choose a major at the end of first year." Requirements are Advanced Functions, Calculus and Vectors, any 4U English and one other 4U course, individual selection from the mid-80s. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computing and Financial Management, Math/CPA, Math/Financial Analysis and Risk Management, Math/Business Administration and the Laurier double degrees are all separate applications, not majors you can declare from inside this code. Data Science is the odd one out: you can apply to it directly (mid-80s) or reach it as a Mathematics major later.
