When you choose marketing

After completing the first two foundational years of the Commerce (BCom) program, students choose an area of focus, one of which is Marketing..

What to watch for

There is no direct OUAC code for "Marketing" at McMaster - all Grade 12 applicants to the DeGroote School of Business apply to Business I (MB), which leads to the Bachelor of Commerce. Marketing is one of several areas of focus (alongside Finance, Human Resources, etc.) chosen partway through the degree, not a separate admission stream. Grade requirement is Mid- to high-80s.

The same application also gets you to

Business I is the entry point for 3 other majors at McMaster. You are not choosing between these at application time.
