What to watch for

Brock has more concurrent-education routes open from Grade 12 than any Ontario university — ten OUAC codes, each pairing a home degree with the BEd and a teaching division: BA Honours (BAI Intermediate/Senior, BAJ Junior/Intermediate), BSc Honours (BII, BIJ), Child and Youth Studies (BDP Primary/Junior), Educational Studies (BEJ, BPE), Physical Education (BPI, BPJ), Interactive Arts (BIA), and Recreation (BRL), all published at high-80s. Brock's own wording: these are 'limited enrolment 5-year programs' and 'admission is not guaranteed by attainment of the minimum requirements' — a teaching area of high need may be used in selection. They are among the programmes Brock says 'may not issue early offers', so do not read a quiet February as a no. Dramatic Arts streams need an online interview and Visual Arts a portfolio.
