What to watch for

Trent's route to teaching from Grade 12 is the Teacher Education Stream, applied to as RTA (Arts) or RTS (Science) at a 75% minimum. It is not a concurrent BEd: in Trent's words you take '3.5 credits in Education over the course of the four years of an Honours BA or BSc', with 30-hour placements in years 2, 3 and 4, and students who 'maintain an average of 85% or higher on their last 10.0 credits' are 'offered guaranteed admission to the BEd'. Below 85% you are considered individually. Intermediate/Senior also needs two teachable subjects. The Indigenous Bachelor of Education (RTI, 70%) is a separate direct BEd.
