Education at Laurier (Waterloo)
Not offered from Grade 12 — Laurier's BEd is second-entry
What to watch for
Laurier's BEd is second-entry — its own page says it 'requires an undergraduate degree' — and there is no concurrent education code from Grade 12. What Laurier does offer is a Teaching Option inside certain honours degrees (Psychology, History, French, Kinesiology, Music and others): apply to one of those, take the Teaching Option's 4.0 credits, hold a 10.5 GPA on your final ten credits, and a BEd place is guaranteed on graduation. Laurier says only students who applied for an honours degree with the Teaching Option are considered for that direct route.
